luluto Pilates Studio Terms of Service
Application of These Terms of Service
These “Terms of Service”, as operated by RIGAKUBODY PTE LTD (“luluto”), shall govern your relationship with luluto, including but not limited to, the use of the luluto Website (https://rigakubody.sg/luluto/, the “Website”) to manage your account, bookings, communication, purchases and registration with luluto , as well as the use of and attendance at luluto Studios.
By your attendance at luluto and usage of the Website, and facilities, you signify your acceptance of the Terms. If you do not agree to this, please refrain from using the Website, purchasing a luluto membership subscription, booking a luluto session, and/or using or attending a luluto session.
luluto has the right to amend this information without notice. The Terms may be revised at any time by updating this posting. By using the Website, buying luluto trial session/membership, booking session, your communication with luluto, and your use of and attendance at luluto’s studios, you agree to be bound by any such revisions. luluto clients are encouraged to check this document periodically to stay informed of current guidelines.
You acknowledge that we may collect, use and disclose personal information about you in accordance with our privacy policy:
We will not be deemed to have waived any right under these Membership Terms unless the waiver is in writing and signed by us. A failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right by us under these Membership Terms will not operate a waiver of that right. Any such waiver will not constitute a waiver of any subsequent or continuing right or of any other provision in these Membership Terms.
You agree to sign our form before commencing your first luluto session.
Article 1 (General Provisions)
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) set forth the conditions between the user (hereinafter referred to as “the User”) and luluto Pilates Studio (hereinafter referred to as “the Studio”) for the use of service provided by the Studio. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Studio’s service, website and other platforms. Access to and use of the services are conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. The Studio reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Article 2 (Session Reservation Policy)
Reservations can be made only through our official channels: the luluto website, phone, studio or the Studio’s official WhatsApp account For non-Singapore residents: Different pricing applies for trial sessions and membership fees. The special trial session rates and standard membership fees are available only for Singapore residents. Non-residents will be charged at a different rate, which will be communicated upon booking.
Article 3 (Cancellation Policy for Reserved Appointments)
Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before your session. Your cancellation will only be valid once confirmed by the Studio through WhatsApp or email. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time will be considered late cancellations and will not be refunded. If the instructor is unable to attend an individual appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness), a replacement session will be arranged for another day or at another pre-arranged time.
Article 4 (Late Arrival and Early Departure)
Please notify your instructor via the Studio’s official WhatsApp if you are running late. Sessions will end at the scheduled time, and lost time cannot be compensated.
Article 5 (Membership Billing, Suspension and Cancellation)
a. Membership
Purchase of memberships can be made in session or via Whatsapp (only after the first trial). Your purchase will be initiated on the date or purchase. All schedules of sessions and membership pricing are available on the luluto website.
You cannot gift your sessions, redeem for cash, or onsell them outside of luluto. Any sessions or membership packages that have been purchased anywhere other than luluto will not be honoured.
b. Billing
All memberships are billed on a monthly basis through automatic recurring payments, with billing taking place on the 1st of each month. When you join, you will pay upfront for the full monthly fee of your selected package, which begins on the 1st of the upcoming month.
If you wish to attend sessions before your monthly membership fee takes effect, each session will be charged at the per-session rate of your chosen package (as shown in the price list).
From your membership start date onward, your monthly fee will be automatically billed on the 1st of each month.
c. Pause
As a general policy, luluto does not offer membership pauses. However, in exceptional circumstances, if you wish to request a pause, you must inform your instructor in person or via the studio’s official WhatsApp by the 10th of the month prior to the intended start date.
Membership pauses are limited to a maximum of two (2) months. If a suspension lasts longer than two months, the membership will be cancelled. To rejoin after cancellation, members must sign up again at the current standard pricing.
If you wish to return after a pause of more than two (2) months and continue using your previous discounted subscription or package rate, a $98 Reactivation Fee will be required to restore those old rates.
In the event that you decide not to pay the reactivation fee, your membership will resume at the current rates available.
d. Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership, you must notify us by the 10th of the month before the desired cancellation month using one of the following methods:
- In-person at the studio
- Via phone or Whatsapp/Email
Requests submitted through other channels (e.g. Instagram DMs, etc.) will not be valid. Requests made after the 10th of the month will be processed at the end of the following month, and your membership will be officially cancelled as of the last day of the following month; memberships will not be pro-rated. (For example, if you submit your request on 12 June, your membership will officially end on 31 July.)
e. Carry-over of Session
If you are unable to attend a session in a given month, you may carry over a maximum of one (1) unused session to the following month. Only one session can be carried over per month, and it must be used within that next month. Additionally, rollovers are not eligible for use during membership suspension periods. Any unused sessions—including carried-over sessions—will be forfeited if your membership is canceled or ends.
Article 6 (Refund Policy)
As a general rule, no refunds will be provided after membership enrollment or after the purchase of any services or products. Please carefully review all terms, conditions, and details before making your purchase or enrolling in a membership. By proceeding with your membership or purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Article 7 (Waiver and Disclaimer)
By signing up for and participating in sessions, events, activities, and other programs at luluto, you acknowledge the specific inherent risks and dangers involved in using the services. With full awareness of the risks involved, you agree to not hold luluto, its instructors and stakeholders from any responsibility for any injury that may occur during a luluto session and from any cost or damages that you may incur.
If in the subjective opinion of the luluto instructor, you and/or others would be at physical risk using lulutos sessions and facilities, you may be denied access to the sessions and facilities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
Article 8 (Indemnity)
By using the Services, you agree to the following:
- The User receives Pilates instruction.
- The User understands that Pilates is not a substitute for traditional medical treatment or medications.
- The User understands that Pilates instructors do not diagnose illnesses or injuries, or prescribe medications.
- The User has clearance from your physician to do Pilates.
- The User understands that risks associated with Pilates services include, but are not limited to, superficial bruising, short-term muscle soreness, and exacerbation of undiscovered injuries, and you release the company and individual instructors from all liability concerning these injuries that may occur during the session.
- The User understands that there may be additional risks based on your physical condition. You understand that it is your responsibility to inform your instructor of any discomfort you may feel during the session so that they can adjust accordingly.
- The User understands that either you or the Pilates instructor may terminate the session at any time.
- The User has the opportunity to ask questions about the Service.
- The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the instructors and the Studio from any loss, injury, liability, damage, or cost that may incur due to the provision of Pilates services by the instructors and the Studio.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
Article 9 (Data Collection and Privacy Policy)
By using the Services, you agree that the Studio may collect and store personal data from you. The data will be used for the following purposes:
- To better understand your needs
- To improve our services and products
- To send you promotional emails containing information about luluto memberships
- To contact you to fill out surveys and participate in other forms of market research
- To customize our website based on your online behaviour and personal preferences
All collected information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for internal evaluation. The Studio is committed to securing your data and preventing data theft through the implementation of the latest technologies and software.
We handle your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
Article 10 (Intellectual Property Rights)
All content, software, and materials on the Studio’s website and the various platforms used by the Studio are the property of or duly licensed to the Studio. Third parties are not allowed to utilize the materials for modification, reproduction, or distribution purposes without prior written permission from the Studio.
